Notes Today:

  • Loss Aversion is the fact that people dislike losses far more than they enjoy gains. So, the supreme courts approval rating will most likely continue to a new all-time low!

    • Beans soar higher on bullish Stocks/Acres numbers. Need to ration deman!
  •

  • Prices of services, Powell’s favored inflation gauge hits 10-month low. Excluding energy services and housing costs rose 0.23% in May.
  • S&P new high on the move.

  • Latest supreme court: reminder, 3 were appointed by a president who lost the popular vote and benefited from a stolen seat.

  • For a 6-3 majority, Gorsuch holds First Amendment protects website designer who wants to be able to refuse to design sites for same-sex marriages.
  • It’s ok to blatantly discriminate against gay people (and anyone else) if God told you to.
  • Supreme Court kills President Biden’s student loan forgiveness program.
  • The extreme majority has blocked about $430 billion in debt relief for roughly 40 million Americans..So, some 40 million Americans are now at least $10,000 poorer.
  • Roberts says it is "disturbing" that recent decisions that accuse the court of going beyond its proper role are "disturbing."

  • Guns have all the rights.

  • Problem with these notes: some tend to run up against a deeply rooted feature of human cognition - the desire not to think about anything unpleasant…Sorry about that.
