- YoY Japan's retail sales rose 1.1% in March.
- The USDA said that:
10% of the corn crop was planted – below the five-year average of 35%.
2% of the soybean crop was planted.
19% of the cotton crop was planted.
34% of the spring wheat crop was planted.
46% of the winter wheat crop was rated good to excellent, up from 45% last week.
